Residents from the community are NOT permitted to dump recyclables or trash in their community dumpsters. those witnessed doing so will be fined. They typically go through all recyclables and verify addresses. if found, the debris will be promptly returned and notice issued on the homeowner account. 

Residents that wish to report concerns of speeding, road safety and or abandon vehicles on the county streets can do so to Nathan Rector  at nrector@frederickcountymd.gov. 

The Jefferson Place Apartments have noticed an uptick in bulk disposal for furniture and cardboard boxes at their onsite dumpsters and around their buildings. They have installed cameras intended to catch any individual dumping these items. If the culprit is found, the apartments will be contacting the police for remedy on the illegal dumping and fined. 

 

Harrington Terrace residents shall not utilize the apartment dumpsters to dispose of items. Should this be witnessed, please report that house number to the apartment complex manager, Shauna Payne at spayne@bellpartnersinc.com 

Recently it was reported of an incident of a strange person following a resident of the community while walking their dog. We remind residents to stay alert in the community, especially at night. If you see any suspicious activity and or persons, please contact the Frederick County Sheriff's Department either by calling 911 and or the non-emergency line at 301-600-1046. There are additional street lights to be installed, however the additional lighting is intended to be installed closer to Phase 2's completion. Should you wish to voice your concerns on the low levels of lighting, please contact Potomac Edison (additional info in below articles). 

The Jefferson Place Community is renting out use of their dog park to individual owners of the Harrington Terrace Community. Use and access of the code is a cost of $100.00 per year for owners that are interested. For rental information, please contact Jessica Griffin at jgriffin@clagett.com. Currently we are under the mercy of Potomac Edison to install street lights in the community. In an effort to move this along, residents are welcome to call into Potomac Edison with the information below and note to a representative to provide an update/request street lights for the Harrington Terrace Community located in Frederick MD. You will be asked for your name and address.
